Tuesday 8:00 am Jan 27th
Buel rested very well last night and is still sleeping. Brandon (my son) called this morning to see if we were ok since Oklahoma has been declared a state of emergency. So, I looked out the window and it is beautiful! Snow everywhere. However, I just heard a patient say that they were staying at the Radisson and that they had no electricity. So we will praise God that we will have electricity and hope to keep it! Cars are moving pretty well on the Interstate but a slower than normal. Will post more this afternoon. Our last Dr. appt with our Treatment Plan is at 4pm so it will be a little late today when I post a blog.

Hi
ReplyDeleteWe have snow here too. It is pretty and I prefer this as to ice.
our hearts and prayers are with you.
Sue says hi, she and Max are still here in Colorado with me. Sue and Max are right here in the same office/hangar as I am. Max works as a consultant overseeing stuff over hangar logistics and Sue handles his paperwork, etc. I tell Sue, she gets the "perks" of being married to the boss. It is about 3 degrees and about 3-5 inches of snow on the ground. Definitely not in Texas anymore! Kristine is still working at Target and doing a good job. Hope to have her in school in the Fall. Have to be in-state for a year to get residency tuition. I am hoping to move into a Condo come June - God willing. One of my vendors, he and his wife, have bought a new place and they are willing to owner finance with a lease/option to purchase. It turns out to be only about $50.00 more than what I have to pay for an apartment. Housing here is so ridiculously high. My house in Lone Oak would probably bring 100K !!!!!Whoever would have thought I would even live in an apartment/condo??? It is beautiful up here. Kristine and I went to Estes Park Saturday and saw big Elk, deer and geese. There are geese every where here even at the Walmart parking lot !!!. They just wonder across the roads etc. Even saw deer and elk come across the road here about two weeks ago - its crazy! Then people here like to get up at 3:00 in the morning to go duck hunting in the mountains/foothills and all they have to do is go to Walmart anytime of the day, and get a goose.
ReplyDeleteI am thinking about you both and God give you strength. If there is anything I can do just let me know.
